Damn. Both of you getting rid of CD's? Zla, how long ago did you take your haul to Book Nook? And Knuck, you mostly selling on Discogs?
Ya -- I haven't put anything up for sale yet, but have been slowly adding CD's.

I'm too lazy to add eBay or whatever into the mix.

Re: How to sell a ton of CD's

How has this worked out?

I've decided to liquidate my CD collection, too. I was slow to adopt the medium and then pretty much switched to mp3's when they became available.

Re: whats everyone currently listening to????

I’ve been listening to some old ATL demos: Darkened Skies — Promo’95 . This band morphed into Demoncy and the songs were re-recorded. Lestregus Nosferatus — Lestregus Nosferatus . This is pretty much late ‘80’s metal. Lestregus Nosferatus — O Come All Ye Faithful -- Tonight We Feast . More my speed.

Re: Too much beer and whiskey

I don’t know for sure — it might be the whiskey talking — but “Raining Blood” might be the best metal tune ever recorded.

Dead Congregation -- Graves of the Archangels. Because, duh.
Dead Congregation -- Promulgation of the Fall. See above.
Spectral Wound -- A Diabolic Thirst. I'm hearing a fair amount of Horna.

We're heading down again to the 30A Sonwriter Festival in January. It's always a good time.

Assuming omicron doesn't blow it up.

Re: WITTR. 2/1/22

If I'm not mistaken, I was literally walking out the door to go to that show when I discovered that the water main to my house had broken. I wouldn't see them until the following year, up in Michigan, opening for Nachtmystium, who rubbed me entirely the wrong way. The events of half decade later cam...

Re: MASS DESTRUCTION METAL FEST V

Grave would be great. I’ve always liked those guys. That Swayze’s show with Dismember and Malevolent Creation was legandary. I think that was Vital Remains and not Malevolent... with Withered and Demiricous too. One for the ages. You're right -- it was Vital Remains. The rememberer isn't what it us...

Man — the last time I saw Loudness was 1985.

And in Avondale, no less. That’s just 10 minutes from my house.

WITTRTwo Hunters. It doesn’t hold my interest like it once did, but “I Shall Lay Down My Bones Among the Rock and Roots” is still magnificent.
