1. Dunkin Donuts coffee is no joke.

2. Recent order from HHR:

Clandestine Blaze - Harmony of Struggle
Satanic Warmaster/Clandestine Blaze - I think I prefer when they don't work together. They sound like they're having too good of a time. Not bleak enough!
Satanic Warmaster - Strength & Honour
Valkyrja - Invocation of Demise

Asphyx - Last One on Earth. Probably over 20 times in the past few days. It's an absolutely amazing album, but really that many times because I didn't know what I wanted to listen to and kinda left it on.

Hertoertzen/Dodsengel - Capax Infiniti
Really phenomenal split. I have already heard both Hetroertzen songs (one was released months ago and one live) but had not heard either of the Dodsengel tracks. They are all great. Even though HTRTZN is hands down one of my favorite modern Black Metal bands, I think Dodsengel wins this one...

Metallica -- The Black Album. Finally listened to this one from front to back. I was surprised that I knew so many of the songs, as none of my friends ever owned it.

I'm a first four records Metallica fan. There's a whole lot of mid-paced plodding going on and I can't really say that I enjoyed it, although the lyrics to "Nothing Else Matters" were rather poignant, given the artistic choices that they made. Misdirected and sad, but poignant.

Nothing about this experience changes my opinion: they are still huge sell-outs and, therefore, hypocrites. I won't listen to this one again.

I still think that album is alright. Haven't listened to it in years and honestly have no intention to any time soon. But I don't cringe whenever I hear a song from it.

I do like "Sad But True" I'll admit. But this album is definitely their Phantom Menace album.
