hahaha, so for the two or so other Tool fans around here this is in full swing right now as fake album and tracklists are flying all over the place and people are whining about it just like the pre-Lateralus era.

New Tool in May.
New Enslaved in May.
New pair of clean, dry shorts needed for me in May.
Aren't you forgetting about that little thing of getting out in May as well?

Yeah but I'll need a change of liver for that, not a change in shorts.

The Ihsahn album is awesome (I am listening to it right now, definitely bits and pieces of the old Emperial ghost stirring around)
The new Amorphis is awesome (it's got a hard rock edge to it with some of the old school death vocals thrown in for good measure in a few songs... easily the best of the post-Elegy borderline metal albums)

The new Tool single will be in my hands monday.

yeah I heard Ihsahn on Wrekage last night...it sounded pretty good! It definitely does have some Emperor influence in it. :)

It's definitely rocks more than the last 2 or 3 albums, not so laid back. More growling vocals thrown in as well. I'd say stylewise, it's closest to Elegy than the others, but with that modern prog feel they've been doing for a while, but with way more energy.

Also I'm really looking forward to the new Gadget. They're a really good band that I don't seem to hear much about.
