i would've put the knife trade and TTEOTD in the title as they are better bands in my opinion, but cool regardless. I should know if the tour comes through Athens as well, but I don't.

Axial Discorrelation are my really good friends. Well Chris and Ryan, the two guitarist anyway. Me and Chris are starting a neoclassical metal project like Cacophany. I still havent heard them, but he is getting really good a guitar so im sure they'll be good.

I saw them back in July when they were called Avenge Thy Torment, they didnt have many songs, and they did an iron maiden cover. It was alright but not really my taste, I talked to those dudes and they were cool guys. From what I saw, they were kind of average as far as shredders go, but it has been 6 months or so since I have seen them so Im sure they have cleaned things up a bit. Nice group of guys. I didnt like the singing at all though.

I like the first three bands on there but I haven't hear the last two.

tteotd might be better but i think the classic stuggle stomps the knifes trade, i got a demo along time ago from tkt with a song from tcs on it, it was much much better, i havent seen them lately though, and they were a good band, just liked the other better.
hope you all fucking rot

well times have changed - old knife trade recordings dont sound half as good as the new stuff, especially because they quit trying to sing, and they got a new drummer and bassist. last time i saw classic struggle live (a few weeks ago) they were boring and forgetful.

aw that sucks. i really like the classic struggle cd, and i hate when i gotta walk out on a band because they dont deliver. im only going from the old recordings, we have played with tkt before but im usually to fucked up to notice anything. but if they got some new members, im looking foward to checking it out, i might just eat my words.
hope you all fucking rot

thats funny that you say that, because i was browsing past the knife trades myspace just a week ago and there latest recording, the split cd, definitely had some singy parts that sounded gay as fuck.

The Knife Trade were always a band I never minded seeing cause it was young dudes, shredding a bit, jamming out, but not really my thing. Too bad about the alleged singy parts. I don't mind the clean vocals depending on the work, but within their style, thats usually indeed, a sign of impending gayness. I'm sure it'll get more UGA sluts at their shows out there.

yeah, that split was recorded with their old members, and had a few older songs. they're recording new stuff right now with eyal at hairy breakfast. i'm hoping they're writing some better songs. if they would get away from the metalcore/hardcore shit and just be metal i think they'd be fantastic. they certainly have the talent.
