No mention of Mayhem fest?

Post by easnoddy » Wed May 22nd, 2013, 1:54 pm

I know this town is primarily a black, sludge and power metal town, I couldn't find anything in the first 4 pages about the Mayhem festival. Is it redundant to post about it?

Its July 30th at Lakewood and I realize this festival is full of -core based douchebaggery (Emmure, JFAC, Born of Osiris, 5-Finger Suck Punch, etc) as well as Rob Zombie...but there is some stronger stuff on there also (to me at least):

Mastodon
Machine Head
Amon Amarth
Behemoth
Children of Bodom

i snorted diet coke out of my nose, which is a change pace from coke that used to go up my nose

i think power bottoms are more power violence as they have to be broken in short spastic bursts

This would be good if I cared about Children of Bodom and had some more interest the new Amon Amarth.

Just noticed that this show is the same day as Summer Slaughter at the masquerade. What are all the metalcore/deathcore kids going to do? Weird thing is this tour had 'corpse and 'fetus last year.

I'd go for these bands alone!

But no way I can go...not in middle of week. I'll actually be in Atlanta the weekend right after lol (for a wedding)

Ugh tickets are way too high and I hate the big ass shows where they pat you down and it costs $10 for a shitty beer but I have to see Amon Amarth since I missed them last time they came around so I have to go.
