Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane, The Somberlain
Hate Eternal - I, Monarch
Atheist - Elements reissue
Edge of Sanity - Crimson
Dragonlord - Black Wings of Destiny (a sort-of good, if utterly derivative, take on the whole Dimmu Borgir thing, by the Testament guitarist)
Arcturus - Sideshow Symphonies (weird, to say the very least)
Weird... I have listened to every single one of those albums in at least the past month except for the Arcturus.
Recently:
Amon Amarth - Versus The World
Opeth - Still Life
SYL - City
Caedere - Mass Emission
Grave - You'll Never See...

Funny -- if uneventful -- story about that Pig Destroyer (and keep in mind that I love the band -- Prowler in the Yard is one of my all-time fave cd's):
On the night I bought Terrifyer, I was listening to it through headphones while watching The Late Show w/David Letterman, sort of alternating with the coming and going of commercial breaks (during which you can fit 2 or more PD songs, obviously), and I was spectacularly drunk. Over the course of fifteen or so minutes of doing this, taking in a good bit of the album, I found myself thinking, is this some sort of concept album? Because I keep hearing this same theme in the guitars, song after song... Eventually I squinted through the cigarette smoke and my alcohol-blurred vision to realize that I'd somehow hit the "repeat" button on the cd player, and had in fact been listening to the same song 5 or more times in a row.
Gotta love grind.
And beer.
