folk metal freeform this Sunday, November 30

Post by Metalfreak » Wed November 26th, 2008, 8:49 pm

hey dudes, I'm gonna be on air this Sunday (Nov 30 aka my birthday!) from 3pm-6pm. I'm gonna be playing nothing but folk metal for those 3 hours! I have a good bit of folk metal stuff but please, give me suggestions!

I have music by: Eluvietie, Svartsot, Equilibrium, Finntroll, Manegarm, Korpiklaani and probably a few other bands that I'm forgetting. List more stuff you want to hear so I can download it or something before then. Thanks!

ps - tune in! 88.5 fm as always. 8)
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Hmm ... Turisas, definitely. Maybe Enslaved's Eld album. Vintersorg before Visions from the Spiral Generator (Cosmic Genesis, Odemarkens Son, Till Fjells). Opeth's first album probably could qualify as folk metal. I'll add others if/as they come to me.

And happy birthday, in advance!

Lumsk, Asmegin, Nerthus, Thyrfing, Falkenbach, Mithotyn, Thyrfing, Falconer, Thyrfing.

Actually, you should probably just play the first two tracks off of Farsotstider over and over.
