News

There may or not be some very important big news regarding WREKage in the very near future.

Stay tuned.

ohhh...well, I guess that's good.

I hope the show doesn't get cut back or anything.

It has been some shitty news in the tail end of the year here. Not only is Domino's changing their sauce, crust and have added this provolone shit into the mozzarella, but the WREK is going to shut the door on the Legends of WREKage.

The upper management of these places really suck!
I mourn as and with DarkWolfen as our metal hero is gone. :(

Wha? Really? Hmmmm. As a longtime pizza delivery guy (back in the day), this is an outrage!
Or something.
but the WREK is going to shut the door on the Legends of WREKage.

Hang tight. Any changes won't be at least until a month or two from now, and upper management has committed to keeping WREKage and Stonehenge "alive."

Seeing how I am "upper management"...I'm going to guess you don't really know what's going on.

Shitty about Domino's though.

why would they consider taking these shows off the air? They both have alot of listeners and the fact that wrekage is probably older than I am really says it HAS to stay. No ifs, ands, or buts! :!:

ps - wrekage should start at 10pm again. I would be all over them chips.

It comes down to access -- the Office of Student Involvement, which shares the area of the Student Center Annex with the WREK offices and studios, is apparently having some questions or qualms about it.

I wouldn't mind either, but in fairness, Stonehenge draws a lot of listeners in its own right, has been running nearly as long as WREKage, and is being well-served by its knowledgeable and erudite community hosts.

Nah, nobody is talking about shutting down WREKage at all.
It's just an unintended side effect of some current station changes.
WREKage, Stonehenge, etc aren't being targeted. At all.

btw, Stonehenge has been on longer than WREKage, Paul, haha.
