Donations would be good. We really need 80's Maiden and basically any Judas Priest.
And real copies would be preferable. I mean any of us could burn stuff.

I doubt anyone is gonna buy legit copies of anything for the express purpose of donating it to the show though.

Carnivore Retalliation Vinyl
Megadeth So Far, So Good?? So What! Vinyl
Megadeth Countdown To Extinction Vinyl
Megadeth Peace Sells?? But Who's Buying? Vinyl
Megadeth Killing Is My Business?? And Business Is Good Vinyl
Metallica And Justice For All Vinyl
Metallica Harvester Of Sorrow EP Vinyl
Metallica Kill 'Em All Vinyl
Metallica Master Of Puppets Vinyl
Metallica Ride The Lightning Vinyl

These are all classics.

I just bought a good sounding turntable last week. My record collection right now only consists of one album Agalloch's The Mantle. But more will come I believe.

Define irony...so much Laaz Rockit but SO little play.

Good plan. Some of the vinyl isn't in the best shape and will only get worse the more it's played.
This isn't really and option right now, but if we ever got some money buying the remastered albums on CD would be awesome.

Slayer - the amount of times we've played this I can't believe they're not dead already
Anything else should be more towards albums that are hard to find on CD.
Like Toxik.

Vinyl to CDR...

Post by VibrationsOfDoom » Sat April 30th, 2005, 10:00 pm

Not ot brag here, but much of the vinyl I already have on CDR, and it's been completely remastered and redone... All the vinyl surface noise is removed, so you won't hear clicks, pops, scratches, etc. on any of my copies... Anyone who's heard me play the 1979 epic album LEGEND "From The Fjords," CHINA DOLL "Oysters And Wine," and stuff by Anihilated, MACE, Bulldozer, etc. should know I use good software to edit these... Would be happy to work on any titles that haven't been converted yet... Oh, and by the way, I JUST finished up the remastering process for NECROPOLIS "Contemplating Slaughter," so if ya want that one, I have it ready to go!!

Hey Steven. Did you ever finish that Iron Christ album? :o
featuring the song Vagina Dentata... The word itself makes some men uncomfortable. Vagina.

No, I sure as hell didn't... Turntable died on me but I think I have a guy who has a CDR copy of that so I'll have to work on it...

Let's sit down one day and go over what needs to be converted/cleaned up and burned onto CD... As I said, the classic album section hosts over 720 albums now, and the newest conversions are being done on a daily basis... Lemme know whatcha need...
