Last night I was helping out at the old studio, and Thomas (the chief engineer) came in the studio. He was not happy, not at all. Apparently, Harris has told him that they will not be able to deliver on time as scheduled. I didn't talk to Thomas directly, but from what I was hearing, it did not sound good. I heard things like "automation" and "no dj's in the studio". You guys might want to cross your fingers... :(

How about if I keep these fingers uncrossed. :f1ng3r:

They've only known about this for what... about a year now? If there's one thing we Tech kids are good at it's procrastinating, so I expect everything will be done on time in a flurry of activity at the end.

Well no, this is a problem with Harris, not us. Apparently Harris has told Thomas that they won't be delivering on time, so they're the ones that are procrastinating. Still, I don't know entirely what it's about. For those of you who might be wondering, Harris is a telecom company this is providing some of the engineering hardware necessary for the new studio, per my understanding.

I wasn't thinking we'd have a show on the 30th anyway. If they can move the station and get it back up and running within a few days, I'll be extremely impressed.

As it is, we need to move soon. The old building is starting to look like downtown Beirut inside, and the bathrooms........well........ :t01l3t:
