back when I was first getting into death metal, I listened to netscape's metal station. I have no idea if that's still there or not but that station introduced me to alot. Also, metalstorm's website had a radio station and you could request songs...been forever since I listened to that too lol

Pre-iphone, I had a Sprint Palm phone that had some janky radio app built in. For some bizarre reason it had some NSBM station included. I kept waiting for it to be pulled, but it never was. The name was just something like NSBM RADIO. Any idea what that could have been?

I am biased toward Brutal Existence since I've been a dj there for almost 2 years. Even though its not based out of Atlanta, Atl bands get a decent amount of airplay,*ahem*.

As for the nsbm airplay, it doesn't seem to be as a big deal in the worldwide metal community and is for the most part tolerated. I don't agree and BER stays away from it. Unless you throw in Burzum but that's a whole other hive to stir up.

Chris found this online radio station that plays live police radio over ambient music.

You Are Listening to Atlanta

You can choose your crime-ridden city from a provided list, i.e. LA, NY, Chicago.

I think this idea is brilliant and hilarious.

I started a radio station. It still needs a lot of work, but it's up and streaming on TuneIn.com: http://tunein.com/radio/Radio-Bloody-Hell-s254555/ or click the link in my sig.

Want your music heard on it? Send me shit:

Every half hour or so, you will hear some weird r&b music or some other crap that has nothing to do with metal. I would like to apologize for this. I'm doing something wrong in the radio planner. This spot is where the ads would go (if there were any). So, just bare with me until I figure out how to get it to actually play some ads or at least some of my own uploaded PSAs. I've tried several times to get it right, but something doesn't click into place at the moment. Sorry, folks. It only lasts two minutes though, so stay tuned and the metal will come back sooner than you can swing a dead cat over your head.
