ok guys, what's the first concert you have ever been to?
Technically, the first concert I have been to was some rock group at Peidmont Park like 8 years ago (I was in the 4th grade) but the first (2nd ever) BIG concert I went to was Metallica in '98 (right after 5th grade). Yeah, I'm a young 'un. Due to the situation I got myself into, I wound up in front about 20 seats back instead of the lawn. That was fun! I still have that tour shirt but it's so thin now, I hardly wear it. :m3t4l:
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

My first was Wendy O Williams & The Plastmatics at the Electric Bannana in Pittsburgh. I believe it was 1985 (I'm an old'un).

My first concert in Atlanta was Slayer, Motorhead and Overkill at the Civic Center in 1988. It was my first quarter at Tech, I had a chemistry final the next day but there was no way I could miss such an extraveganza!

First show was the Summer Sanitarium Tour back in 2000. If anyone knows their Metallica history, they'll know that this was a memorable show, considering Metallica didn't play! That was the show at which Jaymz Hetfield was lying in a hospital with a fucked up back because he fucked it up waterskiing with Kid Crotch, I mean Kid Rock. I had to stand through Kid Rock and Korn, just for Lars to tell everyone that Jaymz WASN'T there. That show blew danish dog balls. First show I went to where the headliner actually played was Fear Factory/Spineshank/Dry Kill Logic/No One at the Masquerade.

Korn at the Masquerade back in '95 or '96 I think, back when they didn't suck as much and didn't all have porn star wives. It was right after thier first album came out, and some awful band called Machines Of Loving Grace opened for them.

My first concert was embarrassing. I was 12 and I won free tickets to see Poison/Warrant at the Omni back in 1991.
However my next concert was much better.
Danzig and Atlanta's Nihilist at the Roxy , forget what year but it was for How The Gods Kill Tour.

My first show was Led Zeppelin in 1979, I think it was. I was barely in elementary school and my mom took me because she couldn't find a baby sitter. :m3t4l:

My first official show is quite embarrassing: Ratt with Bon Jovi :m0nk3yp33: opening at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I think it was Ratt's "Invasion of Your Privacy Tour." I was living in Oklahoma and it's all we could get...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

 My first concert was Suffocation in Tampa in '93. I couldn't believe 500 other people had heard them, I just figured there'd be a small crowd

My first show was the Ozzy Osbourne Retirment Sucks tour. It was Sepultura, Type O Negative, and Ozzy at the Omni. I think that was the last tour Sepultura did with Max.

i saw papa roach at the 40 watt in athens. i'm not sure if that's more embarassing than bon jovi or not, but i can't much help that. most recently i saw the melvins also at the 40 watt. i don't think they're embarassing at all but i could be wrong.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

October 30th, 1994 at the Masq

Acid Bath
Grave
Samael
Cannibal Corpse

Still one of the best line-ups ever to come through here. I was 15 years old and scared shitless. Thats when I caught the bug and I knew that I wanted to be in a band. That shit was insane!!

I think my first show might have been Rush at the Omni. Umm, the tour after Signals...that would have been for Grace Under Pressure I think. I totally forget the year, but it was a long time ago. :)

I went to see Queensryche open for Metallica back in 1988 (or 1989?) at the Omni...and ended up missing QR and really loving Metallica. Thus did my dark descent into metal begin. :) :m3t4l:
