this was in my boyfriend's back yard earlier this year:

this was the night the tornado ripped through downtown in March. It was already dark...what you see here is the lightning flash! Daniel took this.

Nice, Metalfreak - I love Maine! I have a friend up there so I was only up there for a weekend, but I've been DYING to go back up.

Here are some pics from my band's tour, earlier this year.

A desolate alleyway in Johnson City, TN.

Some old cafe in Johnson City.

Johnson City. I was fascinated by this city for some reason. I think it's because it was so empty; it was like something from a zombie movie.

Some cool clocktower in Manhattan.

Some goofy-ass bums in Tompkin Square Park (I think that's what it's called) in Manhattan.

I would LOVE to live up there. I'm into the cold weather. Just this week, this fucking heat here is killing me already.

Summers in Maine are 80s in the day and 50s in the night, and I loved that. I would kill for that kind of weather.

I'm not sure there's much of a metal scene up there, though.

Maine is fucking awesome. Portland is a great city - has more bars and restaurants per capita than any other city in the US. It was fun drinking a beer on the dock.

Not to mention, lobster is super cheap (if you're into that thing).

You just gotta mind the brutal roads and even more brutal winters. Last I heard, they get about 8 feet of snow every year. But if you ask me, that sounds like a GREAT reason to own a snowmobile!
