CD's
So, for those of you that still do, where do you guys buy your CD's?
The Century Media Distro seems like a pretty cheap place. (Deathgasm is the obvious choice, being local and all, but what I'm generally looking for is a little more mainstream than what they carry.)

I've had pretty good luck with The End Record's mail-order for less obscure releases. Their prices are about average and backorders can take quite a while, but they have a broad selection and shipping is always fast. Red Stream is usually pretty good, too. They seem to have many more items that aren't in stock, though.

I second the The End recommendation; even though they've added a modest shipping charge (which was to be expected), their selection is rather big and the prices are tolerable.
A surprise find for me has been hjttp://www.wherehouse.com -- even though their shipping charges suck ass, they occasionally have "free shipping" sales (right now, the special is 30% of all CD's, I believe, which I will be taking advantage of). You'd be surprised what you can find there, new or used, but it may take patience. Of course, every once in a while they won't bother to update their site, so you may find that what you've ordered is out of stock (seemingly for good). I've been ordering from them for years, and have only had to return one cd for being scratched all to hell. They also have a lot of cheap cd's, and you can browse through about a gazillion subgenres, sorted by price. Here are the "rock" subgenres: http://www.wherehouse.com/music/browse.jsp?genid=11519 .
And strangely I've been finding some good stuff at my local FYE chain store. In the last week I bought (used) both Deathspell Omega's and Wolves in the Throne Room's latest cd's. That was a shocker. And as for new cd's both Southern Lord and Moribund stuff has been creeping into the stock, but the prices of the latter (17.99) make them out of the question.

I used to order CDs all the time through century media and nuclear blast. I never had problems with them.
Now, I hardly ever buy CDs mostly because I have most of the ones I want. When I do it's from some metal store in a different place (I always scope out the metal stores when I travel) or from criminal records or deathgasm.
