Venues in GA
Ok, so next year I plan to do alot of shows in and around GA for Malefic. I know alot of you have been to countless number of venues around GA. I'm asking what are the better ones for metal??? The venues i know of are
1. Insomnia Venue
2. Crappy stage sound Masquerade
3. red spot cafe or some shit
4. The Warehouse in Kennesaw
5. Seventh venue ( isnt that the one they fucking pray at before you play??)
6. Swayze's
7. Lenny's bar and grill
8. Tabbys bar and grill (I think dude from draped in sorrow runs the shows there.)
That's about all that i really know of. Do any of you know anywhere else? I want to try and be a bigger part of the metal scene and help it out here in Atlanta. Maybe team up with the known metal bands in ATL to get some fucking real metal shows out there. So if any of you know of any other random good Places to play a good metal show, let me know! And come out and see us!!!! If you book shows and are not part of BIG TIME ENTERTAINMENT, then you should contact me on setting up a good metal show! All help is appreciated.

Yeah...J-E-L-L-Oh no! In case any one was wondering, large quantities of high fructose corn syrup and the Turkey do not mix well. That being said, I listed Lenny's and the Ice House not just for their good sound, but their great drink prices, too. Lenny's 24oz PBR's are always $3 and the Ice House has it on draught (in big cups) for $2. I know this has been discussed here before, but I think it's worth mentioning again that an affordable bar can help make a good show into a great show. Merely my drunken opinion.MaleficSounds wrote:Hahhahaha fuck yeah dude, I can always count on you!!!!!! I'll add those too! 1. The Black Box @ Seven Stages - little 5 points
2. Three Bears Cafe - Marietta
3. The Star Bar - little 5 points
4. Sector 7G - Augusta
5. The Jinx - Savannah
just a few around Ga. that haven't been listed yet.
check out Columbia SC, Birmingham AL and Chattanooga TN too. All places you can get to within 2-3 hours and spread the word easily about your band.

I lived in Columbia for a year, there are two venues there that do metal, a place called "Headliners" and a place called "the new brookland tavern."BlazeTSU wrote:

Headliners is kind of like the Masquerade though, they only do bigger shows.
The only places I know of in Birmingham and Chattanooga are The Nick in Birmingham and Ziggy's in Chattanooga.
