Arktide - Melodic Folk Metal

Post by CPrins » Wed April 15th, 2009, 4:16 pm

If you have time, check out the Melodic Folk Metal band I am in based out of Cumming, Georgia:

http://www.myspace.com/arktide

The songs on the myspace however are basically two years old but we are working on our first album right now titled "Conquering Fate" which will compose of 7 or 8 songs and we are re-recording Conquering Fate, Lightbringer, and Forever Lost In Time for the album. You can check out a sample of the un-mixed, rough versions of three of the songs here:

We haven't been able to play any shows yet because we lack a drummer, but as soon as we get one we should be playing some shows around here.

I would love to hear what you guys think of the band. Thanks!

Thanks man. Yeah the band has been around since 2007. They formed after Sacrosanct broke up and Matt and Alex started their own thing. I joined last July.

No, we haven't played any shows. We would love to, but due to the fact that bands kinda need a drummer to play live, we haven't had the opportunity. If there are any drummers in this forum who wouldn't mind playing full time with us, or even just a show, we would love that.

Cool talking to y'all -- kinda by random chance -- down at the RennFaire. :)

Unless I'm busy at our booth, I never let a decent metal t-shirt walk by without saying something or giving props. And yeah, I know that's not "period."
