I was lucky to see Esoteric in the Sierra Nevada's with a huge bonfire next to the stage, it was god damn magical.

Devo

As I understand it, a Bucket List is full of bands you MUST see before you die, not just bands you want to see sometime if you have the chance. I see some pretty fucking long lists here on this thread. Just sayin'...

I am from India...I guess you can imagine how difficult it is to be a metal-head there although the last few years have seen lots of bands play there - especially in Bangalore (where I caught Maiden and Kreator infact!)

I last lived in the US almost 10 years ago and did not manage to see a lot of metal back then - this time I am determined to make my stay count (however long or short it may turn out to be)

OK, some more came to mind:

Sodom
Coroner
Exciter
Destruction
Demolition Hammer
Evile
Gama Bomb
Hobbs Angel of Death
Blood Tsunami
Tankard
Razormaze
Morbid Saint
Darkthrone
Marduk
Gorgoroth
Carpathian Forest
Urn
Squidlord
Slugdge
Drudkh
Absu
Anaal Nathrakh
Converge
Aura Noir

non-metal:
New Order
The Damned
Sisters of Mercy
Human League
Poison Idea
Choking Victim
Buzzcocks
7 Seconds
Fear
Germs
Rolling Stones
GBH
White Stripes reunion show (Where's Meg?)
The Fall

I threw out the rules and just listed some bands I haven't seen but want to. I know there's no way I'll see all of these bands, so I guess dumping them ALL into the bucket to increase my chances of seeing some of them makes sense.

Here are some I've crossed off my bucket list (shows I'm really glad I got to live to see):
Bolt Thrower
Dio
Celtic Frost
Iron Maiden
Metallica in the early 90's
The Who
Kreator
Inquisition
Mayhem
Destroyer 666
Venom
Slayer in the late 80's
Type O Negative
Prong (the first time in the early 90's)
Judas Priest in 79
Exodus (even with the fat singer!)
NIN - Downward Spiral Tour
Ministry
Rollins Band doing all Black Flag songs with Kieth as a special guest
Speedwolf 4x
Ghoul
Toxic Holocaust

non-metal:
Violent Femmes
Soundgarden
The Cure
My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult (singer came out dressed in a bride's dress and slowly throughout the set she stripped down to a skin-tight devil's costume)
P.W.E.I. (The whole crowd came on stage and they had to stop the show)

Bands I wished I hadn't seen:
Sheep on Drugs
Black Lips
Goatwhore 2x
The Cranes

Maybe not exactly bucket list, but Possession (Belgium).

They had that Anneliese single a couple of years back that took the UG by storm and released 1585-1646 EP last year.
