Flots/Helstar - Nov. 30

Post by zla vydra » Fri October 14th, 2016, 1:30 pm

They're on tour in November/December, with open dates between 11/22 (NYC) and 12/2 (Fort Worth). Seems like an Atlanta date around Thanksgiving would make sense.

edit by B:
Nov. 30 at Masq (which one?) with Hatchet

I didn't know Helstar was still around and touring? we can hope.

I assume Flots is F&J ? if yes, definitely something to look forward to!

When Flots played here in 2001, the singer from Helstar filled in on lead vocals so this makes sense.

Looks like Masq is probably picking this one up. We'll see for sure shortly or not.

Helstar was pretty good live. They only played like 2 songs off of Nosferatu--which is the only album I really know of theirs.

Looks like this will be my first true Underground show, as it were, so to speak.

Paladin and King's Peak supporting the show. Weird how we ended up with the same openers as the Theocracy show at 120 tavern on the following Saturday. Anyways I'm stoked to play, gonna be at Underground.
New Address: 50 Lower Alabama Street, Atlanta, Georgia
I've got tickets if anyone wants to meet up this weekend and grab one.

Might test out the ole MARTA train on this one. Uber to my closest station, train down, train up, Uber home. Should be less $$$ than my Silverado will guzzle in fuel + whatever parking fees are like.

Also hoping to see some turds and to get robbed and murdered at Five Points station.

I was thinking Marta too considering the rain and the mess that will cause on 85/400 this evening ( I live 1 mile away from the station) but I'm not sure how late the trains run and/or their safety past midnight...Plus the stupid change of train at Lindbergh after 9pm
